Hey there!
I'm Kriti Tripathi, the editor behind Story Ark Editing, and I'm so glad you're here.
My journey into writing and editing wasn't something I planned. It found me, and over the years, it has become one of the most rewarding parts of my life.
Growing up in a book-filled home, thanks to my dad's love of reading and writing, I fell in love with stories at a young age. That passion followed me into high school, where I entered a citywide story-writing competition on a whim and ended up winning. Encouraged by my teachers, I kept writing.
Later, while pursuing a law degree (yes, I almost became a lawyer!), I found myself turning to stories during a difficult chapter of my life. I began writing a novel and sharing it on Wattpad. The response from readers was incredibly encouraging, and eventually that manuscript became my debut novel, Cause It Was an Arranged Love.
Today, I have the privilege of helping other authors bring their stories to life.
Over the past eight years, I've worked with indie authors across romance, women's fiction, fantasy, thrillers, YA, and self-help. I've also worked on ghostwriting projects and helped clients refine their website content. For the past four years, I've been editing full-time, supporting authors through every stage of the writing journey.

My Approach to Editing:
I'm not just here to fix grammar.
I believe editing is a collaboration. My goal is to strengthen your story while preserving the voice, emotions, and ideas that make it uniquely yours.
Whether we're working on character development, pacing, emotional impact, or sentence-level polish, I want you to feel supported throughout the process. That's why I offer free sample edits of up to 1,000 words. Choosing an editor is a big decision, and I want both of us to feel confident that we're a good fit.
One of the things I love most about this work is building relationships with authors. Many of my clients return for multiple projects, and some have become good friends over the years. The trust they place in me is something I never take for granted.
Beyond Editing:
When I'm not writing or editing, you'll usually find me watching movies and TV shows, reading fiction, or getting far too invested in morally grey characters and complicated fictional lives. I also enjoy conversations that explore different perspectives, which is probably one reason I'm drawn to character-driven stories.
